Congratulations on continuing to reduce your energy consumption! Your school's electricity report (see below) is showing encouraging results. Your electricity consumption was down 5.3 % in September; 11.7 % in October and 8.6% in November compared to the previous year.

Stay Tuned For Earth Hour and Earth Week Activities!

The Eco Warriors meet this week and will be working on promoting Earth Hour and Earth Week. The school will turn off it's lights for Earth Hour on March 27.  

Earth Week Activities are being planned - so stay tuned for the schedule of events!

Winter Walk Day @ L.K.S.

We had a wonderful turn out for the First Annual Winter Walking Day @ L.K.S.  We had over 50% of our students walking to school on Feb 11th.  Several classes had 90% of their class walk to school, which was amazing!  We hope to get everyone walking to school!

Ontario Winter Walk Results.... Stay Tuned!

The Eco Warriors challenged all classes to walk to school for "Ontario Winter Walk Day" - Wed Feb. 11th. We asked teachers to submit a total so we could see how many people walked!
